The Future Myth_ delineates a new concept of contemporary poetic form and language, taking into account silences, exchanges and hermeneutic strategies. As one chapter of a book project started in 2014 Garrett Nelson`s Solo Show at Oslo10 questions the possibilities of a personal language and its dependency on contemporary modes of expression, that have been shaped by a century of art, sexual attitudes, communication modes and language styles and extend in possible futures by constantly accessing multitudes of pasts. The exhibition The Future Myth_ gathers new works by Garrett Nelson, sculpture, objects, audio works, signatures and paintings, that evolve a poetry of sensibility, beauty and lightness.
